Otherside is Yuga Labs' big platform play, its promise is to become the living of web3 where all the NFT projects can participate, build, and socialize. 2nd Trip is the much-anticipated showcase of Otherside's mass concurrency capability along with its newly defined look and feel, following its highly publicized mint and first trip. 7000+ Voyagers participated from all over the world in a massive competitive team-based experience.

PIXEL STREAMING: IMPROBABLE
Coming off of the success of the Otherdeed mint and the First Trip, there was a lot of anticipation for Otherside's development. Yuga followed up with a bigger, more ambitious public demo titled 2nd Trip. We not only aimed for larger concurrency, deeper gameplay, but also richer world and storytelling. It was also the first time Voyagers get a detailed view of Otherside's in-engine look and feel.
Playtest Captures
To foreshadow the event, we put out a cinematic teaser showcasing the game's fully developed stylized art direction in the form of Bone deed. The teaser also hinted at a mysterious vessel that Blue and Curtis found there. This teaser left the community speculating on what was about to come.
Live Event
7000+ Voyagers from around the world joined in on the trip, divided into 4 teams competiting for the prize of a Winged Helmet, a one-time NFT token that grants holders a cosmetic upgrade in the future Otherside meta.
